1. Pulitzer Amsterdam

Set within 25 restored 17th and 18th century Golden Age canal houses all revolving around four inner gardens, the gorgeous 5 star Pulitzer hotel is a sight to behold. With more than four centuries of Dutch history, the interiors are a lovely combination of traditional Dutch craftsmanship and modern design. Nestled amongst the city’s most iconic canals, you’ll find inside stunning event spaces, intimate guest rooms, tranquil gardens, a beauty and wellness space, and an award-winning bar and restaurant. Say your I Do’s in their Saxenburg House, their most opulent mansion with its own entrance, or in one of their Copper Rooms for a more intimate ceremony. 2. The Dylan

A five star boutique hotel set within a historical building, The charming Dylan is location on the prestigious Keizersgracht canal, with modern yet refined interior design. The venue can host up to 80 guests for a ceremony, and up to 175 guests for a toast and a sit down dinner. Say your vows in their historical Regents Room or in their sophisticated Ariana Room, followed by a toast in their bright Atrium, in their secluded garden or in their chic Barbou. Dinner is hosted in their pretty courtyard, where you can expect outstanding service and culinary expertise.

3. Huize Frankendael

Regarded as one of the city’s top 10 monumental buildings and the very last remaining country estate in Amsterdam, Huize Frankendael is a wonderfully elegant choice. With spaces that can host anywhere between 10 to 300 wedding guests, they have a number of rooms that are suitable for different sized weddings. Theit Salon rooms are most popular for more formal weddings, complete with golden wall coverings and a marble hallway, with the Big Salon their main wedding space. For more informal weddings, their Coach House is the most atmospheric part of the house, with it’s own bar and buffet. It can be used as is or divided into two, and has it’s own private patio under the magnolia tree.

4. Het West-Indisch Huis

A beautiful location with a unique history dating back to the 17th Century, it gained its name due to being the headquarters for The Dutch West India Company between 1623 and 1647, and for many years it has been the location for Amsterdammers to get officially married. Situated in the bustling Haarlemmerstraat, it’s centred around a romantic courtyard with three spacious and stylish spaces to choose from, each with their own atmospheric and cosy character. Their Campagnieszaal room which can host up to 120 guests is complete with marble floor, red ceiling beams and an impressive fireplace, with views over the courtyard. Schutterszaal is the biggest room in the building and can host up to 250 guests, boasting views out onto both the courtyard and the Haarlemmerstraat.

5. Kas Restaurant

A well loved Amsterdam restaurant known for it’s incredible food, they are pioneers of the farm to table food movement, with their motto being ‘harvested in the morning, on the plate in the afternoon’. Perfect for any couple looking for something a little different, Kas Restaurant is hidden in the Amsterdam Park Frankendael, in Amsterdam East and can host up to 140 guests with a full venue takeover. Turning from an unloved greenhouse into a gorgeous restaurant back in 2000, you dine in the middle of the greenhouse under the stars, with their impressive gardens surrounding you. Home to 300 types of vegetables, herbs and fruits in their greenhouses alone, the passion they have for food is palpable, and hosting a wedding here will be a truly memorable experience for both you and your guests.

6. The Hoxton

A gorgeous and insanely stylish hotel group, the Hoxton actually has two locations in Amsterdam, with one located in the heart of the city in the Herengracht and the other more newly appointed hotel located on the Eastern Docklands. With it’s city location, you’re right in the middle of it all and well located for plenty of exploring around the wedding day. This venue has 4 differently sized rooms that can be all interconnected to create one large space. They consist of the pantry which can host 30 guests, the Living Room which can seat 20 guests and their Games Room and Open Air Courtyard. The rooms have wonderful large windows looking out on the canal, for a true Amsterdam experience. The Hoxton Lloyd is located in a cool recently regenerated area that has undergone a lot of exciting change in the last 10 years. Featuring lovely modern architecture and plenty of water and greenery, it is just a 10 minute cycle from the city centre. Much like the central location, it has 3 newly designed function rooms, which include The Pantry, The Dining Room and the Drawing Room, which can be interconnected to host 80 guests in total.
