1. Casino de Madrid
Dating back to 1836, a group of young progressive thinkers used to gather at Casino de Madrid to discuss their thoughts and ideas. Since then it’s developed into what it is now, with some of the most distinguished social events in Madrid being held there. 3. Castillo de Batres
A legendary Renaissance Castle declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1970, Castillo de Batres is a charming and rustic setting to host a wedding within. Located within two and a half acres of countryside with 100 year old trees that produce their own olive oil, the venue has a real Tuscan feel, with swaying pine and cypress trees and a bridge over the tranquil Sotillo stream. The venue has two large halls with colonnaded galleries that can host up to 350 guests, with natural light filtering through all the rooms. The history of the building which has inspired poetry, paintings and music is complemented by pretty Italian style landscaping, terraces, hedges and an impressive swimming pool, the perfect spot for hosting a wedding outside.
4. Casa de Oficios
Nestled in the valley of the Jarama River, Casa de Oficios is an 18th century estate that exudes a special magic and charm. Home to chic and elegant interiors, and outdoor spaces that are surrounded by living nature and large fish ponds, it’s got romance in abundance. They have lots of lovely pockets to host the various elements of your wedding, from gardens and groves to sound fountains, porches and rose gardens, they’re able to adapt their wedding spaces no matter the season.
6. Westin Palace
Commissioned by King Alfonso XIII in 1912, the decadent and iconic Westin Palace is located in the renowned Art Walk and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as ‘Paisaje de la Liz’ (The Landscape of Light).
