A 600 year old Wealden Hall House nestled within the medieval town of Battle, The Pilgrim’s rest is absolutely filled with history. From Inglenook fireplaces to ancient beams and oak floors, the venue even has a secret tunnel running beneath it that was once used to access the abbey walls. 7. Gote Barn
Bringing all the rustic charm, Gote Barn is located on a working dairy farm near Lewes and is a large Elizabethan barn filled with high vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, large dance floor and a raised stage. They can also increase the capacity by adding a large open sided stretch tent on the lawn.
