They have both indoor and outdoor reception spaces available, including a large veranda and gardens that can be set with marquees, canopies of twinkling lights and lovely drapery. 2. Hotel Indigo Venice Sant’Elena

Nestled in the heart of Venice, this hotel is located within a renovated 1930s monastery right by the Biennale Gardens. Whilst being so centrally located, it actually has its own garden that is perfect for outdoor wedding ceremonies in the summer. For chillier months, the hotel also has ample space indoors to host your ceremony and reception, along with 75 bedrooms for your guests to stay in. 3. Villa Sagredo

A 16th century villa that was originally an ancient Roman castle, Villa Sagredo was commissioned by a noble family in the area to be renovated into their family home. The villa was carefully restored to maintain all its original venetian features and is the lovely wedding venue that you see today. The venue comprises of two villas that are completed in a rustic and elegant design. The main villa can seat up to 220 guests on the main floor and 80 on the ground floor, and in the annexe you’re able to seat 150 in the Ancient Granaries Room or 70 within the cellar, so there’s lots of choice depending on the size of your wedding party. Alternatively, there is also 40,000 square metres of private garden in case you wish to celebrate your wedding outside. The venue is exclusive use and is particularly handy for anyone driving over, with parking for up to 200 cars.

4. Hyatt Centric Murano

Located on the beautiful and quaint island of Murano, Hyatt Centric beautifully teams historic charm with modern luxury. In a spot overlooking the venetian lagoon, they have a number of spaces for both intimate and larger weddings, with the ability to host between 20 to 90 of your guests. You can choose to tie the knot outside in their pretty courtyard, followed by a reception within the luxury event spaces. 5. Aman Venice

Facing the Grand Canal in the heart of Venice, right by the Rialto in the old quarter of San Polo, Aman Venice is one the most exclusive hotels in the city. When you enter the venue, you’ll be greeted by a lovely grand staircase, towering ceilings and pretty ornate interior decoration. Within the space, there are a variety of rooms for you to host your wedding in, including a suite for getting ready. The main Portego Hall is the palace’s ancient ballroom, with windows that look out onto the Grand Canal and is ideal for both ceremonies and receptions, along with their rooftop terrace area. 7. San Clemente Palace Kempinski

Tucked away on a private island - the Isola di San Clemente - you’ll find the tranquil and hidden gem that is this hotel, surrounded by the venetian lagoon. Awarded the Best Wedding Hotel and Best Luxury Wedding Resort by the World Travel Awards, it has played host to a number of high society weddings for billionaires and their families in the past. With authentic venetian style throughout the whole venue, it also has it’s own 12th century church on the island that you can make use of for your ceremony.
