Ljubica and Massimo’s Glamorous and Romantic Wedding at Lake Garda’s Torre San Marco
Taking place in the iconic wedding venue of Torre San Marco situated right on the shoreline of Lake Garda, Ljubica and Massimo’s wedding is an absolute feast for the eyes. Opulent and glamorous, the couple got married at a stunning church nearby before bringing the party back to the venue’s terrace, with views looking out to sea. The bride wore a beautiful off-the-shoulder Galia Lahav dress, with intricate twinkling lace details that cascaded down prettily onto the full skirt. Paired with sparkly Jimmy Choos and soft curls, it felt like something out of a fairytale, as she had touching moments with her family whilst getting ready for the ceremony.
Waved off by the wedding party after the ceremony, they made their way over to the reception in the coolest of cars, a soft lemon yellow convertible Mercedes, where they were greeted by a beautifully designed wedding space by IDO Events.
Dining on unique, show-stopping canapés and oysters, whilst being entertained by amazing musical performers that made their way through the crowd, the drinks reception was followed by a wonderful al fresco dinner beneath festoon lighting, lit by glass candelabras and with incredible views out to sea. Finishing off the night with memorable fireworks and plenty of dancing, we have no doubt this wedding was truly memorable for everyone involved.

HOW WE MET
“In 2011 when in my teens and I was looking for a part-time job, I started working in an ice cream shop which belonged to my husband’s family. My husband and I were already attracted to each at that time but we were both in a relationship, one year later my husband contacted me and the timing was right. We have been happily together ever since.”
THE PROPOSAL
“After 10 years of being in a relationship he finally proposed to me in Rome. He organised a Proposal Planner and photographer for the proposal, with a spectacular views over the St. Peter’s Dome in Rome.”
THE DRESS
“After visiting some bridal shops in Munich I decided to visit the bridal boutiques in Baden Baden, which is around 3-4 hrs away from my home to broaden the choice. I tried on around 7 wedding dresses in this boutique, and my dream gown was actually the first one I tried on. I was looking for a dress which was a mix of fairytale-like, elegant and also sexy, to suit the whole style of the wedding in Italy. Lots of people told me that the dress looked like it was made for me it was so perfect, and I really enjoyed wearing and felt like a princess the whole day, especially in such a magical location”.
SPECIAL MOMENTS
“Our wedding day was a dream come true, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Garda in Italy. The stunning sea view added to the enchantment of our beautiful location. Our magical three-day wedding weekend was a celebration of love, bringing together guests from all over the world.
We made a grand entrance in a vintage old-timer, rolling gracefully into the cocktail hour, setting the tone for an elegant affair.
Our exceptional service providers and a dedicated wedding planner team of four ensured every detail was perfect, making the weekend truly unforgettable. The festivities were filled with special acts, including an incredible band and DJ, mesmerising dance performances, and talented artists. Our first dance broke tradition, adding a unique touch to the evening.
Immersive entertainment captivated our guests, while impeccable food delighted their palates. As the night drew to a close, fireworks lit up the sky, perfectly timed to the band's performance, creating a spectacular and unforgettable finale to our celebration.”
