Alexa and Erick’s Glamorous Wedding in Mexico with Floral Lace Galia Lahav Gown
Taking place in a beautiful private luxury venue in Riviera Nayarit Mexico, Alexa and Erick put on a glamorous and timelessly elegant soirée for all their nearest and dearest. Shining brightly in a glittering, floral appliqué Galia Lahav dress with unique floral lace detailing, the stunning bride Alexa was accompanied by bridesmaids each in their own individual choice of dress, bringing a lovely laidback feel to the day’s events. With the groom and groomsmen all in elegant black tie, the couple made their way down the luxurious cream carpeted aisle complete with white meadow style arrangements and an incredible ocean view, to be officiated by the groom’s very own father for a truly sentimental moment. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom hosted a delicious dinner seated around pretty banquet tables, before enjoying the wonderfully unique experience of building their own wedding pavlova cake, with the help of Erick’s chef brother.

HOW WE MET
“We met Memorial Day Weekend in Cabo at a club called Mandala on Squid Roe. Romantic right? He proposed 6 years later at our home, with our Golden Retriever Cheto. It was super intimate, not originally planned this way (but that’s a story for another day) and just perfect.”
THE DRESS
“I knew it was the one before I tried it on, I had seen it in photos before and just knew it was my dress. I would choose it a million times over.
Wearing the dress on the day of the wedding, I felt like the most beautiful version of myself, the dress was like a second skin, I was comfortable, confident, and the spin on that dress is to die for. I fell even more in love with it that day. I think everyone else did too!”

THE CEREMONY
“Walking down the aisle to my husband was my favourite part of the wedding. I knew it would be a once in a lifetime moment and the details in our ceremony were really important to me. We read our vows aloud to our closest friends, laughed, cried and danced our way down the aisle as husband & wife.
Erick’s dad officiated our ceremony. His parents have been married for 38 years. They are the most caring, honest and hard working people I know. We have an amazing example to look up to and their support throughout this process was everything.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT
“Making our own wedding cake - live! We opted for an “interactive” Italian style cake on the dance floor with Erick’s brother, who’s an amazing chef. Lots of cream, lots of berries, all in the moment.”
