Jamie and Chris’ Romantic Mountain Top Wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate

The perfect all-American mountain top wedding, Jamie and Chris’ wedding at the Cedar Lakes Estate evokes such wonderfully warm and fun emotions. From a pretty white washed venue covered in hydrangeas and surrounded by woodlands, to lakeside spots perfect for s’mores, it feels like a pretty picture perfect spot to get married. Getting ready within the venue’s cool and modern interiors, the bride wore a stunning plunge fishtail Galia Lahav dress covered in appliqué florals and delicate straps, finished off beautifully with the most magnificent train. Teamed with loose tousled hair and an all white rose and anemone bouquet with hand painted ribbon tie, it suited the whimsical yet chic surroundings beautifully.

The couple hosted their wedding ceremony outside in the romantic woodlands with endless amounts of white blooms lining the aisle and a luscious floral arch, followed by a seriously cool wedding reception inside. From floral installations both on the walls and the ceiling, to gorgeous tall candelabras on the tables and atmospheric lighting, it was primed and ready for a evening filled with good food and dancing.

MEMORABLE MOMENT

“After stressing about the weather and watching 100 forecasts for 2 weeks leading up to our outdoor mountain top wedding, to say I was a nervous wreck would be putting it lightly. On the day of the wedding the sun was shining. Until right before our ceremony when a strong storm swept through. Our wonderful venue and wedding planners worked tirelessly to ensure we had our picture perfect ceremony by moving around timing and locations. The wind was blowing, but the rain officially stopped and the moment we finished our vows the sun magically came shining down on us like a movie! It is a moment I, my husband, and our guests will remember forever.”

THE DRESS

“When thinking about shopping for a wedding dress I was NERVOUS. I had never dreamt of my perfect dress or had a vision of what it would look like. I felt like I had tried on countless dresses and would never have the “yes” moment. When I tried on my dress I knew in my heart it was the dress, I kept it on for an extended time and kept retrying it on. I didn't say yes right away in fear that I was unsure. The second I left with my mom and got back into the car I realized I was walking away from MY dress. We called and ordered the dress in the car that day!

I felt the most confident I had ever felt. The reactions speak for themselves in the pictures!”

SPECIAL MOMENTS

“Our wedding was a weekend escape in the mountains. All of our guests were in attendance for the weekend and stayed in cabins on site. It really brought our guests, staff, and family together.”

ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDES

“No matter how much planning, stressing, and managing you do, whatever is going to happen WILL happen - so just enjoy the best day of your life celebrating the new life you are creating with your partner.”
